How much does a tennis lesson with Stéphane Copuroglu in Montpellier cost?

A private lesson costs €50 per hour (€60 for an hour and a half) and a duo lesson €30 per person per hour. Trios and small groups are priced on request, depending on the number of players. At your home, within the Montpellier metropolitan area, each lesson costs €10 more.

Where do the tennis lessons take place?

At the Tennis Club de la Pierre Rouge, 7 avenue Saint-Lazare, 34000 Montpellier: 8 floodlit clay courts, set in greenery right in the city centre, in the Beaux-Arts district. Or at your home, on your own court, within the Montpellier metropolitan area.

Are lessons available in English?

Yes. Stéphane Copuroglu teaches in French and in English, for children and adults alike.

What qualifications does the coach hold?

Stéphane Copuroglu is a French state-qualified tennis coach (DEJEPS, state diploma, sports development specialism, tennis), with two bachelor’s degrees in sports science (physical education and motor skills; sports training) and a Master 1 in sports science (mental preparation and coaching). He has been teaching for more than twenty years, at the Tennis Club de la Pierre Rouge since 2003, and his best French ranking is 3/6. His professional sports instructor card is no. 03405ED0104.

Can I have my tennis analysed on video, or take lessons online?

Yes. Stéphane Copuroglu offers a filmed lesson with a debrief at the club in Montpellier (€70), an express remote video analysis (€45, within 72 hours), a pre-match game plan (€70, €110 with video of your opponent), remote coaching (€40) and monthly online coaching (€89 a month), in English or in French, paid online.

Which ages and levels?

All of them: children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to competitive players, for fun or for competition. The youngest play with the slower HEAD T.I.P. red, orange and then green balls.

How do I book a lesson?

By email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp, from the Contact page: the format, your level, your availability and where you would like to play. You get a reply within 24 hours, with a suggested slot.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Cash, bank transfer, card, PayPal or Revolut. Online, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, for the remote formats and the gift card. An invoice is provided on request.

Are there tennis camps during the school holidays?

Yes, during the school holidays, in small groups, on the clay courts of the Tennis Club de la Pierre Rouge. Dates are announced on the Camps page.
